Candlewood Suites Lexington - Medical District by IHG

My family stayed at this hotel bc we were close to the hospital. I want to first thank this hotel for offering a discount rate for families with loved ones at the hospital. My dad was there for cancer removal surgery. I called countless other hotels and was never given a deal like this hotel. I was very impressed with it once i got there too. The staff was very friendly. It was very clean in the lobby. The room was in fantastic shape. It had two queen beds, that were fairly comfortable. I couldn't complain though. The linen was very clean. The bathroom was impeccable. They give dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which i was very impressed with. Iv never stayed at any other hotel that offered that. I didnt utilize the small kitchen area, but to know i could of used the refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher was pretty impressive. They even had cooking utensils to use if one wanted to. Its also just 6 minutes from the hospital. It didnt offer continental breakfast, but there was snack items to be purchased but there was free coffee which i was grateful for, with liquid french vanilla creamer! i would defiantly stay again if i needed to be in the area and would tell others about this hotel.

Their exterior is very minimal and unassuming, the lobby was basic, so honestly i was a little concerned at first...but the room was great!!! So spacious, every room was! Kitchen had a large eating area, nice size living room with a recliner ( hubs loved), bedroom had a huge closet and the bathroom was good size too. As far as the bedroom goes, I admittingly have an issue with pillows at hotels..but not here! The bed was very nice as well! So 5 stars all around on the room!! Clean, spacious and friendly staff. Great choice for sure if staying for multiple days!

Let me start out by saying, We were not suppose to stay at this hotel, but we got so lucky we did!! Lena is an amazing part of this hotel stay for us. She was friendly and helpful and just made the situation before hand, seem like it never happened! She checked us in with such ease, and made us feel like we were family! The room we had was great, minimal noise, great water pressure, the beds were comfy, the room and bathroom were very clean! It was only 6 minutes from the location we were going to be visiting over the weekend. Everything in our room worked, and we were able to just relax and watch TV during the time we used the room. The washer and dryers are free to use, as is the gym! They had a nice little cupboard corner, that had water, snacks, laundry detergent, ect for sale. We definitely plan to stay there again, on our next trip to Lexington!

My son was in an accident and this hotel was near his hospital. The counter staff were kind, understanding and Soo helpful when I had to extend my stay. They accommodated my Mastiff puppy so well. I would recommend to anyone.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were exceptionally clean and had no odors. Stayed with them 2/5-6/26.

We've stayed here twice within the last few months or so. We qoukd stay again, but it does not offer breakfast, and the water pressure we've had thus far hasn't been so great. He only dealt with the overnight gentleman both time, and he was super friendly! Good location, free parking, free laundry if you need it, and more. Breakfast, comfortable beds, a clean room, and a good shower are my go tos. This one falls a little short on two. Sorry forgot to take bathroom shot.

This hotel is new and friendly and gorgeous. We had great service. Please note, there is no free breakfast. However they have a gorgeous kitchenette with a stove top and all of the stove wear and kitchenware you could need. I was very impressed with even a large Refrigerator. Top-notch!

So funny story. Apparently, I had read too many reviews and hotel descriptions before our trip and got the place mixed up with another. But in a good way. No, it wasn’t what I expected but the price was more than reasonable and was generally clean. There was slightly mildewed corners in the showers though. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious so that two people didn’t feel cramped. I didn’t use the coffee maker in the room because there is a coffee bar in the lobby. Really nice and helpful staff got us settled. Being close to the hospital is a perk and ambulances cut their sirens because we never really heard them. We were close to everything, and it was a quick jaunt to food places and coffee. Being close to the hospital means increased traffic but that is not under the hotel’s control. All in all, a good place to stay for a couple of days if you don’t want to eat out every mean.
